As novices in the home decorating process, we could not be more satisfied and happy with the totality of the work done by DF Designs. Dennis showed great patience and understanding as we attempted to conceptualize and articulate our design needs, visited showrooms and viewed beautiful brochures with us, and, always listened to us from one day to the next. Like a calm parent, he unhurriedly introduced his own expert ideas, gave ample time for us to reflect on them, checked out websites and catalogs, and always concluded with, "...only if you're happy with it." He never overwhelmed us with "all at once," but introduced each idea and/or purchase one step at a time and always recommended and/or stayed within-or below-our budget. He even thought it appropriate for us to keep various pieces of furniture that we thought would have to go, because "they fit into the decorating scheme." Our living room conversation area consisting of four custom-made chairs around a round coffee table continues to receive rave reviews. The room's two areas are both different from one another, yet flow together visually with color, patterns, and texture. Those who worked for him were equally professional and courteous, neat and thorough, and also answered all of our questions; they were a delight to have working both inside and outside of the house.
 
The more we "live" with our new decorating and furniture purchases, the more in love we fall with them. When family and friends visit, their first response is always one of a gasp: "I can't believe how fantastic your home looks!" We have never before felt such pride in welcoming visitors.
 
Dennis is not only a design genius, but a gentleman and man of integrity as well.

While waiting in the front hallway this morning for the arrival of a friend, I was wistfully gazing about, especially the living room. Although, of course, I've "seen" it thousands of times, this time each little part of the mosaic--both individually and collectively [the "flow"]--seemed to "come alive." I experienced an almost visceral experience, feeling a warm glow of the beauty and harmony of the room--the colors, the patterns, the furniture, paintings, the [I'm not sure of the word] "little things."
 
And then I said to myself what Judy and I have said so many times before, "That Dennis is a genius!" You have made our house a home in which comfort is both physical and emotional. It's as if our home is a living organism, providing joy and contentment to its inhabitants and visitors. And for this we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
 
    There is song from a 1950s Broadway/film musical, "Li'l Abner," that goes:
